The farm store of the Walter family (National Park community Obervellach) was awarded as the first National Park regional products farm in Carinthia - on the farm, which is family-owned by the Walter family in the fourth generation, pigs and cattle are fattened and processed directly next door - without transport routes - in the farm's own butchery to fresh meat or meat products.
The production takes place according to old recipes that have been further developed over the years. So that the meat's own flavor can develop optimally, the products are also refined with natural spices. It is particularly important to the Walter family to give the products sufficient time to mature, because quality needs time.

The Sturm-Archehof of the Pucher family in the Winkl district of the National Park community of Heiligenblut am Großglockner is an old, original and very large farm in Heiligenblut. It is located at 1300 meters above sea level at the foot of the Großglockner and is the home of the Pucher family with their dying breeds of animals, such as brown mountain sheep, Tauernschecken goats, country geese, Cröllwitzer turkeys, Sulmtaler hens, Viennese rabbits, as well as 30 beehives and short-haired pinschers.
The honey from beekeeper Hubert Pucher is a certified Hohe Tauern National Park regional product, in addition to the handicraft products that Hubert and Angelina make in their button-making workshop from horn from local game. This results, for example, in buttons, which can be viewed and purchased in the farm's own button-making room, but also unique items such as pens or key rings - all products from local game!

The sheep wool has been used as fertilizer for many generations. It naturally contains very valuable nutrients that provide vigorous growth of plants. Our sheep wool pellets are scattered in the bed and then covered with the top layer of soil. Since the pellets are made of pure sheep wool, they swell as soon as they come into contact with water. This makes them not only a perfect water reservoir - ideal for hot summer days - but also loosens and aerates the soil. The sheep wool pellets are located by the roots of the plant and release the optimal nutrients and water as needed by the plant. A natural, ecological and sustainable multifunctional fertilizer for almost all plants, which due to its slow release of nutrients has a long-term effect of up to 8 months - only 1 x fertilizing per season.
The company Ecolets produces this ecological multifunctional fertilizer with 100% sheep's wool from the national park communities at the company site in St. Veit. A renewable piece of national park in your garden, so to speak!

Resi's herb farm is located at 1,100 meters above sea level in the village of Mitteldorf in the municipality of Großkirchheim in the Upper Möll Valley. Her mother was already a herbalist with great knowledge about the effects of medicinal plants and herbs. This knowledge was passed down from generation to generation, so that Resi is also a herb farmer with heart and soul. The products from her herb garden are available directly from the (herb) farm, at farmers' markets in the region, as well as at ADEG in Großkirchheim and at the Haus der Steinböcke in Heiligenblut.

We are part of the family business "Feinstes vom Maltataler" with direct marketing by farmers. Our beehives are located exclusively in the Hohe Tauern National Park region and the bees are allowed to bring in everything from light-colored blossom honey to dark, spicy forest honey, depending on the harvest. This enables us to offer beekeeping products of the highest quality in the farm store in Malta 71. You can learn a lot about bees from the bee educator directly in the adjacent orchard during guided tours at the "Maltataler Lehrbienenstand" or during a 2.7 km hike on the "Bienenrundwanderweg Malta", which starts in the immediate vicinity of the apiary.

Having started out just a few years ago with a handful of hives, Kurt Striedinger has since developed into an inquisitive model beekeeper with great enthusiasm. Every year, he takes some of his 30 or so colonies to the high mountains of the Maltatal, where he harvests unique mountain honey. His honey treasures are awarded medals every year and he has also recently become enthusiastic about breeding Carnica queens. Depending on the harvest, he sells mountain honey, blossom forest honey, forest honey, perga/bee bread and honey liqueur.
