Fishing

"Petri Heil" in the Hohe Tauern National Park Region

Fishing is a wonderful thing. There are not many activities in the wild where you can fully relax and still require high concentration. Being in the wild and calm waters of the National Park region while fishing also guarantees great enjoyment of nature.

Fly fishing - the fine art on the Möll

When you watch a fly fisherman, you can become envious. It takes a lot of skill to make the fly dance playfully over the water and record great catching success. Professionals are enthusiastic about the clear mountain river Möll, it has an excellent natural fish population, especially grayling. Those who get to experience the beautiful and exciting drills of 40 grayling can tell you about very special close-to-nature and nature experiences.

The Drava - a real feature

The Drava River has, besides stocks of rainbow and brown trout, white fish, grayling, tench and nase, a real peculiarity. The huchen is resident in the Drava, and this despite the fact that it is actually no longer found anywhere in Central Europe. The fishing grounds on the Drava extend over the Glocknerhof district, the Pension Putz district and the Pontiller district. Allowed are natural and artificial baits, flashers, as well as wet and dry flies. In times of high water, e.g. when the snow melts or after long periods of rain, the Drau can be difficult to fish.
