And then off you go, a lot of exciting tours and trips are waiting for you.

Ranger programs - guided discovery of nature

On a one-to-one basis with the animals

The wilderness tour takes you to the high mountains of Mallnitz, where you can observe the wildlife of the National Park up close. With our rangers you will get very close to red deer, chamois and bearded vultures. You have a good chance of seeing ibex at the Glocknerhaus in Heiligenblut. Our rangers know when and where!

Become a ranger yourself - Junior Ranger Project

Guided hikes in the National Park

The program of guided hikes in the Hohe Tauern National Park is really impressive. The tours lead across intact alpine pastures, through larch forests, up to mountain ridges with great views. The Moharrunde is an easy beginner's tour, whereas the tour over the Lonza requires a little more skill and endurance. The Elendrunde lives up to its name, it is long and difficult. The National Park Hiking Day is a special event that brings together everyone who enjoys hiking together.

"Guided" ascent of the summit of the Großglockner

But maybe it's not so much about the animals, but about the mountain as such? If you've always wanted to stand on the summit of the Großglockner, it's best to join a mountain guide. Especially if you are planning a challenging tour over the Stüdlgrat or through the north face to the roof of Austria, an experienced mountain guide may make all the difference.
