National Park Experience Winter

Winter is the best time to go on a tour with a ranger. Quite apart from safety, which is a top priority in winter nature, you will get to know nature in its quietest form. On guided snowshoe tours in Mallnitz or to the ibex in Heiligenblut, you can get very close to the winter wildlife in the Hohe Tauern.

National Park Experience Summer

The ranger programs in the national park start in summer, focusing on untouched waters, the impressive alpine animal world and the sensitive high mountain landscape of the Hohe Tauern with its characteristic fauna and flora. On a guided wildlife observation tour in Mallnitz or on a herb hike in Heiligenblut, you can experience the Hohe Tauern National Park up close.

Young researchers' club

A special kind of summer vacation awaits at the Young Researchers' Club in the Hohe Tauern National Park. Every Monday and Wednesday, young explorers are "on the trail of nature". It goes without saying that there is no shortage of fun, adventure and knowledge here. You can't be too young or too young to get to know and explore the Hohe Tauern National Park in all its diversity.
